"Holding Her"
There's not one thing to best describe,
no way to put to words;
The feeling that I get inside,
each time I'm holdin' her.
It feels just like a morning sky,
when sun breaks through the trees;
Refreshing like a drop of rain
or waft of springtime breeze.
So beautiful like ocean waves,
that wash up on the sand;
To know that only love this true,
'twas formed by God's own hand.
It looks as though I'll not let go,
not one time in this life;
As sure as spring is soon to come,
as sure as day and night!
It seems just like she's part of me,
so safe from any harm;
To hold her tight so close to me,
is Heaven in my arms!
