In the spaces between the words
We are all poets
Our verses fill a thousand pages

In the seconds before the bugle
We are all heroes
Our feats resounding through the ages

In the silence between the notes
We are all singers
Our voices echo from every hill

In the evening by the fire
We dream of journeys
We plan to take but never will
