The traffic is 'light, as usual'
according to the
In-car
telephone

nearing the coast now,
how much have I
missed thee
oh
ponderous ocean
oh
timorous sea
apart from those times
when you tried to
drown me

the sun's belting out
a symphony,
music to my ears.

This bay,
Biscay,
so they say
is a stormy one
but
looks peaceful enough
today

tracing my fingers across
lingering sights
my eyes will still sparkle
and be jewels in the nights
when Winter returns.
