It was uphill and down dale
but make
no mistake it was a
'right how's your father'
of a day
nineteen degrees by the way
so no complaint there.

The language fettered me
I should've been able
to converse in the local
but
words failed me

Spanish,
I'll never be fluent in
but
dinner was good
(the wife said,
"No wine")
the water was excellent too

it's a nice little take on a break
when you break bread with
the one that you love.

I'll go shopping tomorrow
because the weather'll be fine
buy some paella and a big bottle
of wine

I'll have to hide it though

haha

she'll read this and
read me the riot act

I'll act innocent
that usually works.
