Fingertips leave smoky impressions
on a cold window
Frost and sunshine divide the land
Brown eyed Zoraetta has long since
become a widow
Only an occasional Cardinal will
cause her to think of him out loud today
The Lantern of God greets and warms her
A morning salvo of audible thanks and reserved laughter
Bible workbooks , coffee with a bookmark from a
granddaughter in her busy hands
Rocking in perfect time , courtesy for passersby
Planning for a 'beautiful Wednesday' once again* ...
