Something took your place
There was despair, now I pray for grace
I let it get away from me
The memory I left behind won’t let me be
There was a time when I was so unafraid
Now I can only think about mistakes
Instead of thinking about someone new

Something took my place
I’m getting nowhere, I’m losing the race
I can no longer see
The vision I am chasing doesn’t recognize me
There was a time when I would have stayed
Now I only think about what keeps me awake
And the time I thought I was in love with you
