Blink
It was such a long hot summer day
I kept wondering if I could get the lights delayed
I was just laying around on a pile of hay
Watching the bunnies, birds, and swatting bugs as the day slips away
I was so very comfortable as I watch the sky
Cloulds going by watching the shape of apple pie
I began to realize that the clouds
Have started to form, as my demons begin to make their rounds
As the demons arrive my body
I begin to feel sad, hate, and depressed
I feel the urge to proceed
I feel as if something is hanging above me
Not tonight for I have been impede
As a fluttering hummingbird goes by reminding me
To let the demons go and just to feel free
