Like a lover's caress,
Her breath carried with it the weight in which toppled my world.
My heart shattered into a thousand pieces as she laid plans for a new destination outside my existence.
For where she wandered, I could not go.
I knew that day the pain of life and longing
would follow me into the brightest places of my journey.
But I weep not for the loss in which I have sustained, but rejoice;
For a love who's depth could rival the ocean
Has kissed my soul while I walked consciously upon the earth
