I've slept a little, but not a lot
For being overwhelmed by thoughts
Cantering like a runaway train
Insomnia is my disdain
I've slept a little, but not a lot

I've slept a little, but not a lot
Of how to sleep, I can't be taught
Awake consumed by my regrets
Hearing voices filled with threats
I've slept a little, but not a lot

I've had some sleep, but not a lot
I'm lying, left here in my bed to rot
Wondering how best to cope
With this hellish Kaleidoscope
I've had some sleep, but not a lot

I've had some sleep, but not a lot
A Ghost is bothering my cot
I'm terrified and sick from stress
I wonder how I did regress
I've had some sleep, but not a lot
