Nov 2016
We live in the moment of now,
heads turn, keyboards click, we watch.
In this wretched time of trends,
things only seem to last a day,
if lucky a week.
We live in constant searching,
yearning for the next popular trend.
Unaware that events are taking place in our peripherals,
tunnel vision has us looking through a tube.
Social media has turned us into cowards,
mindless fools trying to keep up.
But when we're bored, which is a lot,
we crave for something new to laugh at or love.
For only 2 days.
Commitment is a distant word these days,
with only attention spans of just a week.
It's a very scary thing these trends,
with them our futures bleak.
