I walk into the woods
Taking the one less worn
Headed east
On a westbound path

Foliage thinner at times
Mountains peak through
I long for those mountains
Heading east on this westbound trail

Keep the sun at my back
As I gaze at the darkening sky
The moon shall rise
In the east on this westbound line

I want to stop
Turn around
But my heart lays at the end
East on this westbound route
Does he even know?
