A dusty museum with broken windows
Cobwebs hang from open doorways , unread
books lie shadowed , wood floors echo timid
footsteps down musty hallways
Bureaus retain their final occupations , curtains -
flap in wind directed obligation
Structures audibly strain and wince
Period light fixtures swing in defiance
A Bible bookmarked at Revelations
Chimney fires are frozen in time , memory becomes a brief walk through the ancient sublime* ...
