Rocket
I saw him take off,
launched headlong into the stars,
with gold and orange sparks spiraling out of his arms.
I wondered if he was afraid
to be alone up there with all that empty space,
forever out of reach.
But then maybe, it's not so empty.
Or maybe, he's okay with it.
At least, that's what I wished for.
