Bring it to me
The apple of my eye
Bring him to me
There are no clever disguises
My guise is neutral as it is wise
To keep everything hidden from the naked eye
But also good to be open like a book
Why didn't he want to take a look?
He skimmed through the pages and didn't stare me in the eye
He edited the sentences but didn't take credit for it
Bring it to me
Something I wouldn't mind
Someone to hold me and tell me
"Everything is fine"
