It wasn't so difficult
It didn't feel wrong
As she went out shopping
But shopping for love

She knew what she wanted
The same that she had had
Just younger and attentive
Before he was a dad

Muscles and tanned
Not a care in the world
Just meat on the market
No one gets hurt

But a game of passion
A tryst of deciet
Lie to ones hart
Opens a rift

The stolen moments
More needy and often
Eat at the fabric
That holds her as one

The husband the father
The daddy the rock
Is now just a stranger
His soulmate is gone
