I'm out of touch with the world without your
amphetamine mind to keep my zombie company
but I've lost your name and street address
to remind me what it feels like to plead for my life
like I ran into a power line with octopus pincers
and I only know as long as your eyeglass spies
on my bulging veins like a sunny day
filtering through the bedroom window
I'll be able to face being anonymous
