Oh don't fret my lady
Those half truths of me you hear
Are their sutle rage of jealousy
Those old suitors that have failed you
The ones that neglected your full lips
Their words try to sway your demeanor is cold
They were blind to your Raven hair
That sculpts your face and loving smile
Their quest was one thing the rest they didn't care
Through your misty eyes I see a constant light
One of hope and happiness not a curse of midnight
So I shall throw you a line tie it off
I will guide you
our boats will adrift and dock at loves
Harbor of delight
There we can mingle our mind
Share laughter and smiles
Slowly erase the past from our chalkboard minds
and exhaustion sets in from the days conversation and all the half truth
From others have been extinguished
may I say oh don't fret my lady
For I am your anchor and you our rope
Just give me the signal  release your rope my anchor will rise set us afloat
