°○HALF A CENTURY○°
I turned fifty today and here inside myself
°•○°• I will stay°•○°•°
•°Oh,What a joyous day•°
Despite what others may say
~Life is quite satisfactory this way~
Sitting on the hotel balcony
Watching the seagulls fly by
One is brave enough to land upon
~The corner of the deck~
Just waiting for me to drop a morsel
Of food, Oh please, just a speck
He may learn the lesson that I continue to
Each day, you get what you get in life
It will be enough to carry you through
Bask in the glory of each new day
Revel in the beauty of
The sunrise and sunset
Every moment added to life
°•○   With no regret    ○•°
For God has given me
A gift of knowledge
Finally!   AGE FIFTY,
I feel
As if I am being set free
