As noxious notions emerge in the absence of tranquility,
she finds herself clenching to the memories of what she used to find familiar,
of who she used to be,
but during these times,
mania and madness blur her conceptions,
she is no longer the alluring rose people viewed her as,
her charm became obsolete,
she was overcome by the demise of her old self,
others became aware of how she was wilting,
they tried to reach her,
tried to hold on to any ounce she had left,
but she was already gone,

the rose had already turned brown.
