The butterflies in my stomach, their wings flutter
as lapsing light unmatched your eye colour,
I wanted so hard to pretend this wasn't happening
pretend that I did not find who my heart desires
but there's a fire that spreads once it's ignited,
And I wish I could fight it; oh how I wish I could.
I could not ever go a day without you;
without letting my heart colour my world your hue.
You are you; you are perfect
You are beautiful, beyond the surface.
You are you, and you make me happy;
so please don't be mistaken,
when I tell everyone that I'm happily taken.
I am yours.
