The letter was addressed: From Agnes With Love
It arrived from above, in the beak of a dove
My heart it had seemed to stop in its place
But it started to race, when I saw your face
The years had shown through your beauty in lines
A few more then the time, when I called you mine.
The photo brought memories of pain and of bliss
On the back was your kiss, and the word "remanice"
Was it a cruel taunt, or did you crave me?
I thought as I walked nervously, to your cottage to see.
