Like pink flamingos
flame colored we were born
among the rest
colorless souls
Just me and you
miles apart
so we could see our flames

Like the bird of wonders
each day we die
and we rise again
from the ashes
so we could start anew
till we make it right
or till the end of our time

Like singing lovebirds
we call each other
during day and night
till we hear the song
or see the light
of a flame colored phoenix
shining brightly
before our eyes

Of flesh and flames
we were made
to burn down like the stars
Against all odds
we survived
and against them all
we are still alive
