As I step by faith,
As I walk in the dark,
Hope is my morning.

As I knock on the door,
As I wait with patiently,
Hope is my way in.

As I stand against the earthquakes,
As I stand still and wait.
Hope is my Zion.

I hope not like a hopper,
I hope for Jesus lives.

Like an eagle I fly,
And hope the wind to carry me.
Like an eagle I shed my feathers,
And hope to retain my youth.

As I spread my wings,
As I reach out,
Hope is my Lord’s hand.

Like a lion with strength I walk the lands and hope to see my King.
Like a lion with courage I protect and hunt souls and hope to see Jesus soon.

Like hope I do not stop to vision my hope.
Pure is my hope in Christ Jesus.
