A cursory gaze into Palmetto sky
I spy a definitive portrayal of myself with
pen in hand , colloquial symbolism
penciled onto would be ancient papyrus
Screaming writes begging answers
Pushing lead hard till it finally splinters
A metaphor for anxiety left to linger
For now* ....
