It is raining
It comes down to bequeath
and celebrate life.

But it's not natural
I say it is not!
July has been
dry as a bone
last July rain was 1993

It's those planes.
they leave trails that expand.
when their clouds arrive
they hang low and web like
grey and full of chemicals
they seep not condensation
but chemical residue
more like a cataract
Is this OK?

the rain produced,
gangster's *****,
barely quenches
the earth's thirst
we need rain
we need the moisture
we needΒ rain.
