My shadow is deeper than I
sinking down underneath a
grey sky
and what does it see
when my shadow leaves me?

I don't know
I only go
as far as the end of my nose

the shadow goes down somewhere
far beyond sound
way out past the night
passing through light,

but
deep is alright
right?

Try as I might I can't free it
half of the time I don't see it.

my shadow goes deeper than me
