reeling 'em in says the padre with a grin

some say
religion's a joke
medicine man with mirrors and smoke

not bothered,

if I take a **** the whole flamin' world is a joke

But I woke and it's good
(knock on wood)

I should get my bones out of bed
go to the kitchen
for tea,
toasted bread

just give me five minutes more in my bed.

Religion's not dead
it's just sleeping?

I'm keeping an open mind
on the seventh day I
think you'll find
the padre with a wicked grin
reeling 'em in.
