Bite my Tongue
I hear them whisper words un-sweet
about all the people they come to meet
Baffled by the poisons they spread
Do they not have a kind bone in their head?
For it is too late, the poison has sunk in
And I feel my world start to spin
Spurious notions lingering in the air
Am I the only one who hurts to care?
Choosing not to scream or fight
I bite my tongue, I'll be alright
