Subtext of the Moon
It is daylight at night
Shining so bright is she
Messages sent upon the summer twilight
Having the moon carry them to me
Hidden subtext in the words
"i miss you"
"i need you"
Never to be wrote or heard
"Look at the moon
Isn't she a sight
Can you see her as I do
Here this clear night"
Sending my message back
Only through her
Hoping it gets to you
In the subtext of our words
"I see the moon
She is a wonderful sight
If you listen she will sing
A wonderful lullaby"
Hidden subtext in the words
"i am yours"
"you are mine"
Never to be wrote or heard...
