Heavy are the sins laid upon us by those who brought us into this world
We pay for the sins of our parents
With our hardships
They do not always mean to burden us
But the burden is there none the less
Because world sees us by our parents first
We pay for their past
With our future
We work to better ourselves
We work to give them a better life
Then the world would let them give us
We pay for their mistakes
With our suffering
We suffer through the hard work
To make a a difference not only for ourselves
But for our children
We pay for their lapses in judgment
With our foresight
Better ourselves where they could not
We try to lighten the burden
Before we inevitably past it to our children
