To my parents,
I hope you are out there.
I hope that you have not forgotten about me.
But I hope that you do not worry.
I have a family I love
And that loves me back.
I hope you still love me,
If you ever did.
Cause I love you.
You gave me this life.
I hope that you are healthy
And happy with your lives.
And I want you to know
That the daughter you didn't want
Is not sad that you did not want her.
But she is sad that you missed out
On everything I've become.
I hope that what you wanted
Was worth it too.
Cause you will never know someone
Quite like me.
I was adopted at 11onths and I just saw Finding Dory. It made me think a lot. It was a hard movie to watch. If you made it all the way through this poem, thank you for sticing with me. Peace <3
