Listen,
It's faint, vivid and achingly beautiful
The way You breathe
Heart rates quicken, drumming persistently
While we look into our eyes
And others see poison, darkness from
The outside, but inside
We are lost in ourselves
Floating away
In the solace of our own prison
Our chains relentless and yet welcoming
We are serene and carefree.
