May 2016
The duties of the heart,
And the duties of the home,
Happen to be the same.
They both scream you.
But with the heart of a wolf,
I will never abandon the girl I love.
I am a soldier,
And I will cut down all before me,
No matter how glorified the evil.
And if I must,
I will weild my weapon with one hand,
And cover your eyes with the other.
Just know,
I will do what is required of me,
To protect this homeland,
And to protect you.
No matter how many men must die,
No matter how many rounds I must fire,
I will return to you.
And I will rest until the next fight,
When my soul builds to full strength,
And I know I cannot lose,
Not with you beside me.
