Lending a hand
I took a spell from the book of spells
which I borrowed from the library,
filed under O for Occult,
third shelf down, aisle three.
But playing with fire or magic is not for mortals like me.
Alchemy,
base metal to gold
someone should have told me
about
alchemy.
I'm sure that Christians don't agree
with magic and spells and
alchemy, but I do and
funnily enough
I'm a Christian too.
Jesus hangs his head
some think in pain,
I think in shame.
God
allows controversy,
not sure if he allows
alchemy.
Anyway
the librarian
an
Aquarian
pours water on my dreams
when she screams
'Devil worshipper'
which is not true,
book of nonsense,
top shelf
aisle two.
