Blood Doesn't Make You Family
I haven't seen you in 6 years
You've seldom entered my thoughts
I have not shed many tears
I'm not the one who fought
To be fair, neither did you
Not that you thought of me
Perhaps just once out of the blue
That's just the way it will be
You reached out to my to brother
And didn't talk to me
You just preferred the other
It's me you don't want to see
Oh well, that's the way things go
there's nothing I can do
I will just take it slow
And try to forget about you.
