Its day break,
She starts her routine
She wakes up
from her childhood dreams.

It's a long day ahead
Her family is up and running
She's right behind them
As they leave her that morning.

Alone once again
Her soul aches
As she asks the Lord
"One more day?"

"This is it"...The Lord told her
Your own plans were never fit.
Didn't I carry you all this way?

She finally surrenders
All those tears from her heart
A smile for her children,
All worries must depart.

Her husband is home
Evening is closing
"Jesus has blessed me", she prayed
How could I feel so lonely?

Clouded by her childhood dreams
The Lord had something to say...
"My child, my kingdom is coming
And that is where you'll stay".

Great are your burdens
That you carried today
But tomorrow
Just let Me take them away.

Sleep my child
Your rewards are in heaven
My plan is working
As I had intended...

She rested assured
Tomorrow's a new day
And with a blanket of His Spirit
Her tears were washed away.
