Today
I am here today and I say that to give a sense of belonging, but I'm longing not to belong, not to be strong just longing to be,
me?
I'm a minstrel
a wandering romantic.

I cross lines to be awkward
go back to be forward,
unique?
no
there are many like me
trapped in the sea they call sanctuary which
actually isn't at all.

Today
I am here
today I will see her
and today
she will free me
if she sees me
today, as they say, is in the lap of some god
who doesn't give a toss about me.
