The untold consequences
Of the wars that we wage
No discussions of repercussions
Even moves the needle on the guage
As if ignorance being bliss
Keeps us from regretting what we never miss
Even though there's no way to know
The cost of what's lost...if it never exists
An Einstein in waiting--never fulfilled
Denied by circumstances of birth
Put into the categorical imperatives
Never to fulfill the value of their worth
Such is the cost of what's lost......
........IF IT NEVER EXISTS!
