Remember days
when
in your embrace
I forgot
rest of the world?

Listening to your heart,
feeling the skin
spread divine warmth
to mine,
I felt so secure
without a single door
or a gun,

You hold me still,
but it's not the same
the pureness is gone
I wish I knew
where YOU roam.

I drift on
like a block of ice
on the pounding sea
no destination,
knowing well that
soon will come
the end of me.
