Ice cream
I hear a noise in the background, it's the jingle of the ice cream truck
It's a hot summer day, the kids eagerly gather for a snack
Vanilla, chocolate, oreo so many choices what to pick
The smell of chocolate is enough to make your mouth water
The hot sun is making all the ice cream drip to my hand
Sound of laughter soon fills the warm summer air
The second you taste your ice cream is the way you want to spend summer
One tast can trigger a memory from childhoodΒ Β
You need to savor the last lick on this summer day
Until tomorrow I must wait for the ice cream truck to come again
