Twilight gives way to millions of eyes
covering the night's sky
No reason to believe why those eyesΒ Β
blink only for you

They collapse and die
give you life and hope
and everything you love
cherish
Held close to your heart
Everything that you would
Die or **** for
Nothing to be left untouched

Their deaths are what creates beauty
What creates art
So that you can ask why am I here?
What's my purpose?
My part?

Look in the sky for blinking eyes
And remember
Your purpose is not to forget those eyes
That stare back at you
