Old , hollowed-out freight cars going north-
have their own distinct sound
These late night trains barreling through-
Palmetto can be heard for many a mile
You can hear those big empty boxes dancing-
on the track without a load to weigh 'em
down
I can recognize full railcars headed south to New-
Orleans in the early pre-dawn hour ..
