Whatever one’s ****** proclivity
I respect their right to privacy
It’s much more liberating to be free
But I don’t know maybe that’s just me

They say it’s hard
For some people to come out
So they remain in the closet
With their doubt
And some will not address it
In their conversations
Because of fear
And other reservations

Whatever one’s ****** proclivity
I respect their right to privacy
It’s much more liberating to be free
But I don’t know maybe that’s just me

Out of the closet or in
None of us are free of sin
We’re merely mortal women or men
No matter where we’re going or have been
All of us have choices that we make
Different roads we may choose to take
Some are fragile and eventually break
For others life’s simply a piece of cake

Whatever one’s ****** proclivity
I respect their right to privacy
It’s much more liberating to be free
But I don’t know maybe that’s just me

Some ask themselves why
Must they go on living a lie
Others don’t even try
To find a reason to comply

Whatever one’s ****** proclivity
I respect their right to privacy
It’s much more liberating to be free
But I don’t know maybe that’s just me

I can’t speak for her or him
What they do is up to them
Whether masculine or femme
Who’s to say from where it stems
Some say that they’re born that way
That might be but I can’t say
That’s on them but I’m okay
With whatever anyway

Whatever one’s ****** proclivity
I respect their right to privacy
It’s much more liberating to be free
But I don’t know maybe that’s just me
Coming Out began as song lyrics, which might explain the reoccurring chorus.
