Heaven is when you’re here with me
Living in the present dismissing all the history
Look in your eyes and I see sweet serenity
Your intelligence poring through, that graceful femininity

A glimpse of wisdom and innocence, a paradoxical element
The way you laugh when I tickle you, another clue that you’re heaven sent
I hope these times last forever, but I’m scared of the future
Tense in the present, regretful of the past

You ask, when will I move on, the answer is T.B.D
The truth is you care for me- and desire to see me free
I think we can be, a sentiment that you don’t share
But I want you to be happy so I try to act like I don’t care

So let’s go back to heaven, let’s go on another excursion
Gas tank filled up plus new tires on the Suburban
I want to go away with you, this love is never ending
Because when our lips meet, baby it must be heaven.
