Sinking Ships
"Do you love me?"
*
In the dark she whispers,
leaning up to kiss his lips.
He doesn't hesitate to promise;
it reminds her of a script.
Both know the lie is there;
a beat of her heart skips.
It's an iceberg in the water
to sink their relationship.
No...
I don't know .-.
