Heart beats once
And beats twice
Never hateful
Always nice
Hides behind
Memories past
Takes away
Then makes it last
Darkness falls
Inside the room
Nothing shines
Only gloom

Opens only
To the day
Tries to love
But cannot free
The burning hatred
