And the light is lasting longer each day*

All the birds are in pairs
as the bomb around the garden air space
Like flying dodgems

Just as I close my eyes waiting for the splat
They dead stop
and dart in a new direction

"Was I like that when I was young?
When spring was upon us
Maybe"

Time to drag your mind
out of your big warm natural down sleeping bag

And smile
Spring is awakening
