This is most likely just another love poem
By that one love poet that always writes about you
That same love poet that always writes about
How she sees the milky way in your eyes
And how she sees those wrinkles when you laugh
Those weird gestures when you're ecstatic
As if you just won the lottery
As if you just won life over to your side
Like you don't give a **** about it
Cause you're in for the ride
And what fear you hid from all of them
You showed to her
You were glad you did
And so was she

But this is probably just another love poem
Written by someone else about you
About how that other girl
Described how your smile weakened her
How your words were just so warm
The heat kicked in melted her
As if it was everything
To feel like she was a puddle of all of you
When the love poet felt completely the opposite
'Cause there was no moment she was weakened by you
She felt stronger with every smile you gave
Like she could make it through anything
And how your words just froze her
To actually be strong enough to stand on her feet
Because what was everything to her
Was to feel like she could actually
Take on the world with you

And this love poem might be just like before
This might just be another one talking about
The crazy things you do
That make her fall in love with you
About how you hold her cheek and everything stops
And everything just starts to pop
Crackle and kaboom will go her heart
And it brings her back to the start
Of everything that started this
And how you tried to keep that kiss
So different than how you let your lips
Touch those before hers
And how everything before seemed so worth it
Everything so true and nothing exaggerated
No Hallelujah chorus of angels in the background
Not even a sight of hearts in the air
It's just plain feeling that things are all right
'Cause you're there

Now that love poet didn't want this love poem
To talk about the things that others usually say
So she'll talk about the excitement you show
When you talk about
The things you can't stop talking about
And even though she couldn't understand much
It was beautiful the way
You talked about the things you love to do
The past that seemed so far away
The video games you play
The music that keeps you through
The dreams you have for not only you
It was beautiful for her to watch someone
Be as in love with life as she is in love with you
How she wished the world knew

So this love poem by this love poet
Is dedicated to you
That guy who she didn't think she'd fall in love with in the first place
That guy who makes her giggle by making that wacky face
No words could ever be enough
No challenge could ever be so tough
No regrets and no more fears
Through the pain and through the tears
She'll stand by you no matter what
I know this all because
I am that love poet
