I'm a potted plant.
Nothing spectacular
No, not a cute tree.
Nor some tropical shrub
I'm a lackluster flower
Potentially, I could be beautiful.
Potentially.
Under the neglectful eyes of my keeper
My roots have reached the ceramic case that I've known my whole life.
I'm withering.
