My oldest flame
Never too soon
To see you again
Let's not pretend
A kiss on the lips
That's all I ask
You and I both know
This just won't last

Was I born with a curse
Or never born at all
As the living get livid
From Time to time

I don't know of anger
Can't say I'm happy
And I won't say I'm sad
All that I know is
My oldest flame

And she don't go to bed
She just sits by my side
'Til the morning
Comes pouring through the curtains crack

Good morning my flame
Good night to all
Let me hide in the shadows until the curse has been lifted
Crooked ol' smile
To the side on my face
Eyes, half the size
Of a younger man
And closer together

The years took their toll
But she took much more
As the curse starts to rise
I realise how sad I've been
All my life long

Cut short by the curse
That's goes by the name..
My Oldest Flame
